Oregon Militia

The Oregon Militia; Oregon has a long standing history of militia activity.  The Oregon Rangers were founded on March 11, 1844. Later in 1847  a rifle company was created out of Oregon City made up of 45 volunteers. Today the Oregon National Guard serves as the Organized militia of the state of Oregon. We are the unorganized militia of Oregon, all able body citizens between the ages of 18 and 45. We still believe it is our duty to stay trained and effective, for when we are called to action. It is our mission to bring together like minded citizens to cultivate powerful relationships, and provide quality education and training. Our current focus is on establishing community, and a positive environment through which we can conduct effective training. If you would like to donate or are interested in joining training please feel free to contact us.
